This course will consider some of the key elements in the thought of some of the great ancient and medieval philosophers of the Western tradition. These philosophers are: The Pre-Socratics, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Anselm and Aquinas. The course will also begin to consider their thought in a wider philosophical context.
10 week term. Fees £75 plus annual Settlement Membership - £18/£13 - paid once, irrespective of number of courses attended.
