Touching the Past - The Story of Britain through its ArtefactsTutor: Paul PalmerDay: Tuesdays from 21st September 2010Time: 1.45 pm - 3.45 pmRoom: Brunt Room
This course will explore human progress in Britain from earliest times to recent, by examining objects that have survived from the past. Archaeological objects that were commonplace to each era will provide the focus to conjecture how they were used and what they meant to the peoples of each period. Students will be encouraged to “bring and tell” their own objects at appropriate times on the course, to provide an interactive narrative about the human story of this country.
