The Letchworth Settlement:  User Groups

A course for those wanting to write for children, designed to help students hone their skills and gain the confidence to unlock their imaginations while, at the same time, learning the disciplines essential for producing taut, fast-moving, plot-driven stories which will engage a young reader. Short writing assignments will be set each week and there will be class sessions on language levels, plotting, characterisation, the build up of suspense, self-editing, market needs and how to approach a publisher or agent.
