Simple Free Motion Embroidery – Seaside

Fun times for sewists and their sewing machine at any level. Complete beginners or long time stitchers … everyone is welcome to spend a Saturday morning with us, sewing and eating cake!
We’re running 3 workshops using basic raw edge free motion machine embroidery. Each session stands alone or you can develop your skills through the three Saturdays. Using techniques to make shapes and textures, we’ll create coastal themed bunting, a bag or a cushion.

Customer Information: Bring along your sewing machine, power cord, instruction manual, all your bits and bobs… sewing equipment (scissors, pins etc)

bring a machine embroidery or darning foot for your machine. They are easy to purchase online for less than £5. We will provide your background fabric

I’ve been a keen crafter from as long as I can remember but I’ve always enjoyed trying something new and a bit different. Appliqué is a great way to use up scraps and have fun with fabric.

I’m a passionate sewist with a background in garment technology in the fashion industry. I enjoy exploring and teaching processes and techniques and giving students confidence to achieve a professional finish.
