Friday Flowers
Create wonderful, seasonal floral designs and learn tips to get the best from your cut stems. With a range of floral designs from vintage to contemporary, you will try something different each week to enjoy fresh for the weekend.
The course is at beginner to intermediate level but is not entirely suitable for absolute beginners, although with some general flower knowledge you will be fine.
A starter pack of containers and equipment is available. You will provide your own plant material each week; the tutor can also provide some.

Customer Information: Please bring: Notepad and pen, floristry scissors or sharp, strong scissors, Elastoplast, bag to keep everything in week-to-week, apron (optional), water-resist cloth or binbag to protect the table. Glasses, if needed, for fine work.
Further sundries will be described by your tutor in week 1. There will be a week 1 flower list available.
There will be no session on 29th May.

Name: Helen Allen
Bio: Helen of Verdila now has many years’ experience in floral design with her creations appearing in international magazines. An experienced floristry tutor, Helen teaches to many different groups and runs ‘Verdila’, @verdilaflowers offering bespoke weddings and funeral flowers from her purpose built studio which is small but perfectly formed!
