Novelists as Poets

Many writers explore different genres in their work. We will look at five very
famous novelists but will be reading their less known work, their poetry. The sessions will cover Thomas Hardy, DH Lawrence, Margaret Atwood, Kingsley Amis and Emily Bronte, all of whom are poets of considerable talent. We may make reference to their novels in passing but the focus of the sessions will be very much on discussing their poetry, linking it to their life and times.
