Seasons in stitching: A slow stitch applique journey

Seasons in Stitches: A Slow Stitch Appliqué Journey invites you to explore the beauty of nature through mindful stitching. Over the course of a year, we’ll use the changing seasons as inspiration to create a stitch journal. Each session will focus on different seasonal prompts, such as vibrant spring florals, summer skies, autumnal leaves, and winter landscapes.
During this course you’ll be introduced to the gentle art of slow stitching and appliqué, focusing on creative expression, mindfulness, and working at your own pace. Each week, we’ll explore a different textile technique or prompt, allowing you to create a personal fabric journal that reflects your inner world and connection to nature. Through layering, texture, and stitching, you’ll build meaningful pieces that tell your unique creative story. This workshop encourages relaxation, creativity, and the joy of making something beautiful with your hands while embracing the art of mindful making. Suitable for all levels of crafters, it’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, unwind, and enjoy the process of creating a personal, stitched journey.
