Music, Comedy and Theatre @ Settlement 2026

Dear Settlement Members and Friends,

Only a few days left to get your tickets for our Christmas celebration with
6-piece acapella group Jack in a Barrel.  This will be different to the usual Christmas songfest and well worth coming along, and joining in if you feel the urge.

The Office is closed from Friday 19th until the New Year, with this year being somewhat poignant as we say goodbye to Nick and thanks for his hard work over the past 4 years , and welcome to Russel who will start when the Office re-opens on 5th January.

The New Year also sees the return of our musical Settlement Sessions with something different for the first concert when we welcome jazz vocalist Nette Robinson who, with her husband and friend will treat us to an unmissable and evocative evening of songs inspired by stories, characters and places as well as settings of sonnets and other poems including Shakespeare, Wordsworth and Masefield. Nette has a lovely voice and her fellow musicians provide great support.

The Settlement Sessions continues through 2026, and here are a few dates for your diaries with more information on the website and to follow:-
