Music and the Settlement Summer School 2025!

Dear Settlement Members and Friends,

I hope you are all well!

I thought I would provide a brief update of things happening at the Settlement over the next few weeks as the main summer term courses conclude.

ELIZABETH AND JAMESON

Tomorrow evening, Friday 11th July at 7.30pm (doors 7pm) we proudly present Elizabeth and Jameson, the last of our Settlement Session events for this term!

Hannah Elizabeth and Griff Jameson have joined forces to create an acoustic folk-roots sound which encompasses both their individual musical backgrounds.  Hannah’s influences are firmly planted in traditional folk-roots, whilst in contrast, Griff has formed his musical reputation within folk pop/rock genres.  This is classic song-writing at its best: a stripped back harmony-driven sound with, acoustic guitar, violin and exquisite vocals.  Enjoy the show!

Licenced bar.  Tickets, at £13, available here:

Keep Up to Date

We no longer produce an annual brochure. This is simply because things change so quickly—we're always adding new courses, workshops and events, and a printed brochure can’t keep up! Not printing the brochure also helps us save on costs, so we can spend more on improving the activities and facilities we offer.

But don’t worry—getting the latest information is still easy. You can find up-to-date details of all our courses, workshops and events on our website, and we continue to put notices on the boards inside the Settlement building, just as before.

If you’d like up to date information sent straight to you, please sign up for our regular Settlement Newsletter. It’s a friendly way to stay in the loop, and we’re here to help if you need a hand with anything.
