Artist Vanessa Stone will teach simple drawing skills of composition using inspirational starting points.
Hot drinking water in the art block
Please note that for operational reasons, the hot drinking water supply in the Cruse and Spinks has been suspended. I do hope that this will not cause too much inconvenience.
You are welcome to bring in your own flask / thermal travel mug – filling up at home or in the main house kitchen.
The bringing in of kettles will not be permitted.
I can reassure you that I and the management committee will keep this situation under review and will welcome any comments as we go through the next few months.
New bursary
For the academic year 2025/26 we have set up a small bursary to offer grants to 18-30 year olds towards the cost of one Settlement course. For details of how to apply please visit the Settlement website at https://www.letchworthsettlement.org.uk/bursary-for-18-30-year-olds-academic-year-2025-26/

Letchworth Art Society
There will be a sale (by cash or cheque) of marvellous watercolour paintings and unframed oil paintings on board by members of the Haggo family on Friday 12th September in the Hall (4 – 7pm). Proceeds to the Letchworth Art Society.
